Mark Nevin
Growing up in New Jersey, Mark developed a strong passion for the water. In the fall of 2007, he moved to the Carolina coast to attend Coastal Carolina University, where he began his diving adventure. After working on many projects collecting data for the University, Mark’s interest in diving developed into a devoted career in sharing his interest with others as a Scuba Instructor.
Mark has spent several years developing his diving skills. He has enjoyed encouraging and supporting others in the diving community by helping them to achieve their goals through his instruction. His teaching experiences have taken him to South Carolina, South Florida, Bonaire, Truk Lagoon, Florida Keys and the US Virgin Islands. Mark is an avid Technical Diver and Rebreather Instructor Trainer. Mark enjoys sharing his knowledge of deep diving and decompression theory with his students. Mark now resides in Florida, primarily teaching the AP Diving Inspiration Rebreather. While in Florida, Mark Captains local dive boats in West Palm Beach and has developed a passion for cave diving.
Marks goal is to share his passion of diving with his students and to create a positive impact on those who are interested in developing new skills in the water. He has a strong appreciation for those who wish to learn more so as to influence the diving community. Mark believes in building a strong set of core skills combined with the knowledge and understanding of the respective subject area. From beginners to technical and instructor level divers, he encourages continuing education and gaining experience.
When Mark isn’t booked for dive classes, you can find him in the water fine tuning his diving skills, driving a dive boat, fishing, taking photographs or cave diving.
